Episode 2: Mapes on Maps

The reviews are in on our previous episode and THEY ARE GLOWING!

“Like the Giggle Girls podcast, but about data science.” -our friend’s brother in law.

“Oh cool, I’ll listen to it later.” - my nephew.

“Hey! I recognized your voice.” -an old classmate.

It’s so great that we decided to try making another! Without further ado, it’s episode 2!

Map making is both an art and a science. In this episode, Christie, Rebecca and Bridget chat with Dr. Jennifer Mapes, community geographer at Kent State, and deeply patient person, game for trying things out with a gaggle of fledgling podcasters. Mapes specializes in making maps that are meaningful and motivating.
